Fave Designer: Rachel Zoe

One of my favorite designers and stylists is Rachel Zoe. I love her 60's and 70's aesthetic, her sequins (of course) and her amazing structured jackets! I also am a huge fan of her show and severely jealous of her life as well as the lives of her employees! I would love to work for her! After looking through her Pre-Fall 2012 pics from Style.com, I decided to share my favorites!!

(Left to Right)
First: My favorite go-to jacket has been my cape (see here). I like the idea of a short sleeved cape paired with a skinny pant and boots. So chic and great for a night out!
Second: The short sleeve jacket paired with flared pants and heels would be great for the office!
Third: I have been in the market for an amazing red jacket and this one is BEAUTIFUL! I need to save up and buy it!
Fourth: The fourth picture would be great for drinks with friends or even sunday brunch! I love those boots!
Fifth: This outfit reminds me of a female Michael Jackson. Amazing sequin shift dress (clearly you understand why I am obsessed with it), some great gloves and booties. Also, those sunglasses are really cute!

What are your thoughts?

Favorite Designer Friday - Alice and Olivia, Brian Atwood

My favorite season of the Bachelorette was with Ali Fedotowsky. Her styling team really jumped on the Alice and Olivia wagon, because it seemed like every episode she was wearing something from that brand. Her outfits on the show were AMAZING and since then I have been obsessed with "Alice and Olivia". Here is a montage of my favorites from Bloomingdales.

Deep Red and Black - Perfect for the Fall and Winter.

Blue, Silver and Gold - Perfect for the holidays and New Years!!

How would I style the Hanlin Sequin Tank Dress? Check out my post here.

I am obsessed with shoes, as you might have expected from my previous posts, and there is no exception when it comes to the genius Brian Atwood. I started looking at more of his collection when I started watching the Rachel Zoe Project. Rachel Zoe is one of my biggest idols; I seriously would love to have her job and life. Her and Brian started out around the same time and became good friends. She always uses his shoes on the runway and he makes guest appearances on the show. Here are some of my favorites from his new collection.

So Fetch

UPGRADE: I love that designers added a heel to a typical “mom shoe” and made it just “so fetch”. I have been stalking some at Nordstroms and Bloomingdales and I just can’t choose!!

HELPPPPPPPPP ME!!!!

(How unreal are those Vera Wang shoes?!?!?)

Which heeled loafers do you love this season?

Dare to go….

Bare? Have you ever been to a Music Festival and saw what some of the girls wear there? I guess designers around the world saw what I saw and decided to make it classier. Instead of just wearing your bra, they made it an inch or two longer under the bust and created an ultra-retro Bra Top. Bra Tops were all over the runway in the ready to wear Spring 2012 collections. The tops were matched with adorable pencil and flared skirts. I don’t know about you, but at first I was very hesitant when I heard about the idea of women just wearing a bra as their top, but I am pleasantly surprised with the overall look.

Even Gwyneth Paltrow Rocked an Emilio Pucci Bra Top/skirt at the 2011 Emmys. She wins most daring look for that award show in my book!

The Red Carpet Flashback

I love this time of year because it is almost AWARD SEASON!!! I cannot wait for the Golden Globes, SAG Awards and the Academy Awards etc!!

My favorite dress of all time was a Reem Acra Stunner worn by the beautiful Eva Longoria at the Golden Globes in 2009. It was an orange-red strapless mermaid gown with a scalloped top. I wish I could look like that at every event I attend!

(STUNNING!!)

Here are some other looks on my Best Dressed List!

1. Sandra Bullock in Marchesa (Academy Awards 2010)

2. Anne Hathaway in Armani Prive (Academy Awards 2009)

3. Kate Hudson in Donatella Versace (Academy Awards 2003)

4. Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan (Emmys 2011)
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING (My hands-down favorite this year)!

DVRing Fashion Police is a MUST! I always wonder who will be on their Best and Worst Dressed List! … and besides, who doesn’t love Joan Rivers talking about bad outfits when she is covered in ratty fur?

Speaking of Fashion Police, did you hear the terrible news that Giuliana Rancic has the early stages of Breast Cancer? How terrible and sad? My thoughts and prayers go out to her family....and remember October is THINK PINK month!

Get in Loser, We're going Shopping

I am in love with all the blouses this fall, so I decided to compile a list of my favorites!

First and foremost on my list is this amazing black and white blouse from Aritzia that I have been stalking for awhile now. I went to Shorthills Mall last month, which has the best upscale stores in New Jersey (my personal opinion of course). It made me reminisce about my first ever trip to Aritzia. The customer service there is amazing. My friend Alyssa and I thought the employees knew my friend Vida, they kept calling her by her first name! Their service makes you feel so important and such a valued customer.

How amazing is this?
